Spatifilo

Besides being very beautiful flowers, they are very resistant. When the flower begins to wilt, it should be pruned two or three centimetres above the junction with the leaf. They prefer shady places and moist soil, but not in excess. They clean the air of substances such as ammonia, benzene, formaldehyde and trichloroethylene (which is present in many grease cleaners and is carcinogenic)

It requires enough light to grow and flourish, although it can survive in poorly lit areas. The direct sun yellows and burns its leaves. It needs to be sprayed frequently to provide it with the ambient humidity it demands.
