Realme 3 Pro’s HyperBoost 2.0 will come to older Realme phones

Oppo spin-off Realme unveiled the Realme 3 Pro earlier this week at an event in New Delhi, India. The smartphone runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 and comes with a feature called HyperBoost 2.0 which will trickle down to older Realme smartphones.

This information comes through the company’s India CEO Madhav Sheth who revealed that HyperBoost 2.0 will be rolled out to Realme 1, 2 Pro, and U1 with ColorOS 6 update, whereas the Realme 2 and C1 are still being considered for this feature.

HyperBoost 2.0 improves the gaming performance in real-time and includes Touch Boost and Frame Boost – the former increases touch response time by 16.2% whereas the latter improves frame stability while gaming by 38%.

This isn’t the first time that Realme has promised to roll out a feature from its latest smartphone to older ones. Last month, the company announced that Realme 3’s Nightscape mode would make its way to older phones soon.
