1. 5-minute mac and cheese
Ingredients:
1/2 pound cooked pasta
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup whole milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
In a microwave safe bowl, add pasta, cheese, milk, salt, and pepper.
Stir well and cover lightly with plastic wrap.
Microwave for 3 minutes, stir and then microwave for another 2 minutes.
Keep stirring until it becomes smooth and creamy.
2. Kid-friendly mac and cheese recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound cooked macaroni
1 cup butter
1/3 cups flour
3 cups milk
750 pound cheese
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons
dry bread crumbs
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Take a saucepan and melt 3/4th cup of butter over medium heat.
Then stir in the flour and add the milk slowly.
Bring it to boil and then stir for 2 minutes.
Take it off the burner and then add cheese, salt, and pepper. Keep stirring until the cheese melts.
Add the macaroni and mix well.
Take a casserole dish and mix the remaining butter, bread crumbs and pepper.
Sprinkle it on macaroni and cheese and bake for 30 minutes.
